The very early beginning of the infocount company can be traced at the roots of the project of the same name that came to existence in 2001 at the Masaryk’s University in Brno, as an association of students of the Faculty of Informatics. It was founded by three students to unite their commercial activities in the IT field.

Regarding the increasing possibilities in the IT area and the still-coming new technologies it is impossible for the firms that are directed by managers without theoretical and practical background in IT to keep up with modern trends of this dynamically developing branch. That is why the thought to join the three different specializations – Security in IT/IS, Analysis and design of systems and project directing in IT – into one homogeneous body.

At the end of 2002 the original project infocount changed its legal form by founding a limited ltd. company and in 2003 the infocount, s.r.o. company came to being by recording it into the Companies Register managed by the county court in Brno. Together with these changes the headquarters has moved to the center of Brno.

The infocount company still keeps close connection with the academic environment, which helps it steadily increase its technical level and use the newest technologies. The quality of its services can be best be seen mainly in references, among which there are important producers and distributors on the Czech market. Worth notification is also the creation of the two main products within the first year of existence.

Nowadays the working group of the infocount company keeps growing. New collaborators are found not only among the graduates of our own alma mater, but also among graduates and students of other universities, and the last but not least among the foreign colleagues.
