In the time of great spreading of information technologies the security issue is absolutely vital. The contemporary experience demands the deployment of systems based on PKI structures (Public Key Infrastructure) based on encryption with the a public key. For this encryption two keys are needed – the private key and the public key. The data encrypted with one of these keys can be decrypted only with the second one and vice versa. The usage of this technology brings big demands for management and security of these pairs of keys and also their binding to a particular person. Standardized solutions for management of the public keys and their bindings to given subjects are supported by using trustworthy services of third parties (TTP – Trusted Third Parties), so called certification authorities (CA).
